Mike Mignola’s Hellboy turns 25 this year! To celebrate one of comics’ greatest characters Ash Ave Comics will be giving away a 25th anniversary edition of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction issue #1 with a new cover by Mignola, Hellboy Tattoo Sheet and buttons, a Right Hand of Doom bookmark, and a Hellboy double-sided poster and Mignolaverse timeline.

In addition, all Hellboy and Mignolaverse collections, current issues, back issues, and toys are 20% off all day long! So drop by the shop this Saturday, March 23, to get some free Hellboy goodies, and pick up some Hellboy comics with this one day sale.

Free Comic Book Day 2018 at Ash Ave Comics!

Free Comic Book Day returns this Saturday May 5, 2018! Stop by Ash Ave Comics from 9 AM to 8 PM, in addition to tons of free titles, we’re having a 25% off shop wide sale from 9 AM to 2 PM. This will be the 17th year of FCBD, and there’s 51 titles up for grabs this year (and an exclusive Pop Funko Saga Lying Cat vinyl).

This year’s “gold level” books include Overwatch and Black Hammer from Dark Horse, Barrier from Image, Invader Zim from Oni, DC Super Hero Girls from DC, Transformers Unicron from IDW, and Avengers from Marvel. Take a look at all of the titles we’ll be giving away this year!

Ash Ave Comics 15th Anniversary Sale

January 2nd was our 15th anniversary, so we wanted to say thanks to all of our customers with a store-wide sale on Saturday, January 6th. Everything* in the shop is 25% off from 11 AM to 4 PM, and 15% off from 4 PM to 8 PM. It’s a great opportunity to come down and pick up the item that’s been a little out of reach monetarily and take it home, or a great chance at swooping up a stack of current or back issues, or graphic novels for some winter reading.

Black Friday at Ash Ave Comics!

Ash Ave Comics will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd for the Thanksgiving holiday.  We will be open our regular hours on Wednesday from 9 AM to 9PM, as the holiday does not impact our shipping schedule.

Our doors will open at 9 AM on Friday November 24th with extended hours for Black Friday sales.  We’re offering 30% off storewide from 9 AM to Noon, with even deeper specials: back issues are 50 % off, all omnibus collections are 40% off, and all discount bin books are .25¢

The entire store will be 20% off from Noon to 5 PM. If you know the shop, then you know we have tons of great gift ideas for the holidays and something you’ve wanted to add to your own collection as well.
