What is Ash Avenue Comics?
Owner Drew Sullivan opened Ash Avenue Comics in 2003 to provide a laid-back, friendly, judgment-free place for long-time comic book enthusiasts and new readers to enjoy perennial favorites and discover new books to treasure. The mission of Ash Avenue Comics is to provide a destination shopping experience for a wide range of comics, from mainstream to small press and independent publications, with as large of a selection of comics and graphic novels as we can fit in our shop.
Yes! We also offer toys, apparel, and posters.
Ash Avenue Comics is located at 806 S. Ash Avenue, at the intersection of Ash & University, across the street from Whole Foods Market.

Yes, thank you for asking! Our new online store is up and running, with diverse and exciting books being added all the time. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, e-mail email@example.com and we’ll see if we can find it for you in our brick-and-mortar store.
Your comics will be mailed 1-3 business days after purchase via USPS First Class or USPS Priority Mail, depending on shipping weight. All of our comics ship bagged and boarded. International orders, if available to your region, will ship via First Class International Parcel Service. Orders of $100 or more are eligible for free shipping within the United States.
All sales are final. Exceptions will only be made for items that are damaged or lost during shipping; in such cases, once we have verified the loss or damage to the item, a refund will be issued.
We are not professional graders and don’t represent ourselves as such. We do our best to grade our books according to the industry-standard Overstreet Price Guide grading scale (re-printed here on Heritage Auctions’ website). We provide scans of the actual product you’ll be receiving (except where noted) so you can see for yourself. If you have additional questions, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are always happy to place special orders for our guests! However, please understand that if your item is out of stock at the distributor level, there may be a wait for it to arrive back in stock or it may be permanently out of print.

Ring, ring! Hello, I found this old comic in my childhood dresser when I went to see my mom last weekend. Is it worth anything?
Maybe? The value of a comic depends on its condition, and we are unable to make that kind of determination over the phone. Even if the comic looks like it just came off the rack, other factors such as demand will influence its worth. I just pre-ordered a comic from your site. How long will it take for my comic to get to me after it goes on-sale?
Your item will be packed and shipped the day we receive it from the distributor. From there, delivery time will vary based on the shipping speed chosen at checkout and the volume of mail being processed at USPS, but generally your item should arrive 1-3 business days after the carrier receives it.
Payment for pre-order items are due at checkout when the order is placed.
I pre-ordered an item from your website, but now I need to cancel it for one reason or another. How do I cancel, and will I receive a refund?
We can cancel your pre-order and send you a full refund anytime before the final order cut-off date. E-mail email@example.com with your order number and cancellation request, and we will issue your refund within 1 business day. However, please remember that we cannot cancel or refund pre-orders after the final order cut-off date has passed. This is because pre-orders placed through our website are special orders that we have placed with our distributors in addition to the quantity that we’ve ordered for our brick-and-mortar store, and we have already paid the distributor for your item after the final order total is placed.
