Comic Book Club October Meetings: Wytches + Transmet vols 5+6

We’re reading Scott Snyder and Jock’s Wytches for our annual Halloween themed selection, and then later in October we will cross the half way mark through our latest ongoing discussion of Warren Ellis and Darick Robertson’s Transmetropolitan. All titles for a given month are either available in store or a request can be made to order a title, and a reminder that they’re 15% off that month as well.

Our meetings begin at 6 PM, and per usual we recommend attendees BYOB (be it beer, beverage, or BBQ).  Listed below are our next two months of readings, and a photo and summary of October’s main title:

Sunday, October 7: Wytches

Sunday, October 21: Transmetropolitan vols 5 and 6

Sunday, November 4: My Boyfriend is a Bear GN

Sunday, November 18: Transmetropolitan vols 7 and 8

When the Rooks family moves to the remote town of Litchfield, NH to escape a haunting trauma, they’re hopeful about starting over. But something evil is waiting for them in the woods just beyond town. Watching from the trees. Ancient…and hungry. Collects WYTCHES #1-6.
