Comic book artist, illustrator, and designer Geof Darrow is the Eisner award winning artist of Hard Boiled, Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot, and Shaolin Cowboy.  He regularly contributes to Dark Horse Presents, and recently created the cover art for Deadpool, Hit Girl, Wolverine, and Conan.  His collaborations with writer Frank Miller, Hard Boiled and Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot, were both Eisner winners, with Hard Boiled winning the 1991 “Best Writer/Artist” and Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot winning the 1996 “Best Artist/Penciller/Inker or Penciller/Inker Team”, in addition his series Shaolin Cowboy won the 2006 award for “Best Writer/Artist: Drama.”

Renowned for his precision and technical skill, he was tapped by the Wachowskis to provide the conceptual designs for The Matrix, and is currently working on a new Wachowski film project.  In 2012, he returned to his character the Shaolin Cowboy with the pulp styled Shaolin Cowboy Adventure Magazine, and is currently at work on a new Shaolin Cowboy series, as well as a standalone graphic novel.

This is his first appearance in Arizona in nearly 20 years, and his first as a guest at the Phoenix Comic Con.  Geof Darrow will be at the Ash Ave Comics & Books booth located at #891 and #893.
