The theme for this months storytelling is: “Get Me Away From Here, I’m Dying.” This Untidy Secrets is also collecting supplies and funds to help one-n-ten rebuild and reorganize after an arsonist set fire to their Youth Center, making the building a total loss.  Untidy Secrets Storytelling will be collecting donations from the attached wish list and passing a collection around for cash/checks. Please take a look at the link, bring some of the items if you can. Bus passes and games are also needed but not listed.

Untidy Secrets Storytelling is a monthly storytelling and zine swap event. Each month a new theme is selected from song lyrics. Each month, Storytellers interpret the theme in interesting and unexpected ways.

Ash Ave Comics July 4th Holiday Hours

Ash Ave Comics holiday hours! We will be open on Tuesday, July 4th from 11 AM to 3 PM, and our normal hours of 9 AM to 9 PM on Wednesday, July 5th. New releases will not be effected by the holiday. Also: the double page spread is from issue ten of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale’s DC classic Batman The Long Halloween.

Comic Book Club April Meeting: X-Men Dark Phoenix Saga + Y The Last Man vol 4

Our April meetings are just around the corner, this month we’ll be reading The Dark Phoenix Saga, Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s classic run from The Uncanny X-Men, on Sunday, April 2nd and we’ll discuss the penultimate volume of Y: The Last Man on Sunday, April 16th.
